The blemish amounts to a cosmetic imperfection - usually a small opening in connector body, exposing insulation only - no impact to function. Each SAE 2 Pin Connector for "Power Side" of connection with 6" (+/- 1/4") pigtail leads - an 18 AWG wire with Red PVC insulation leading to the "protected" female (+) socket side of the connector + an 18 AWG wire with White PVC insulation leading to "exposed" male (-) pin side of the connector. Total draw of load must be less than 5 amps. Do not attempt to power devices drawing greater than 5 amps.
