The design length was set with the application of a motorcycle with saddlebags in mind. Once coupled at the SAE 2 Pin end - the power port, 12V charger, and the hand held electronic device may be stored in the adjacent saddlebag. Total draw of load must be less than 5 amps. Do not attempt to power devices drawing greater than 5 amps.
